ANDRES “ANDY” RENTERIA
For City Mayor
In 2014, I was appointed to the Town of Horizon City’s Board of Adjustments and served as Vice-Chair for 3 years. In May of 2017, I was elected to the position of Alderman Place #4 for the Town of Horizon City. I ran unopposed in the 2021 election and was re-elected as Alderman.
I bring Integrity, sound judgment, and vision to Horizon City. I have always been conscious of the fact that I represent the people of this community. I will work hard at continuing the successes we, as a city, have seen, while working even harder to find solutions to issues that we will face in the future.

About
Andy Renteria for Mayor – Horizon City
I am a proud Horizon City resident and have been for 37 years now. Years ago my parents moved here and decided to contribute to the community. My father, a past Fire Chief for The Horizon City Volunteer Fire Department, and my mother, a catechist at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, both encouraged me to always give back whenever possible. I wish to continue our family tradition of civic duty by continuing to be an advocate for children and our community as a whole.
I am a graduate of Clint High School and a soon to be graduate of The University of Texas at El Paso with a BBA in Computer Information Systems.
I currently hold an appointed position as Vice Chair for the Board of Adjustments for the Town of Horizon City, as well as a board member/coach for the Horizon City Youth Association. I am also an involved parent, as I am the Lead Parent for the Watch D.O.G.S program at Horizon Heights Elementary.
I love this town and my hope is that I can continue to build on the strong tradition that is Horizon City, for all of its residents.
